Tutorial No.1

asked me for some tips to drawing eyes and mouth. First of all, I love drawing with vectors, because I can drawing separately the head, the eyes, the mouth, the hair, the ears and finally put them together and fix the size of every part. Ok... let's go back to the tips. You can see two numbers: 1 & 2. Put special attention on that numbers:

1. For picture A, I took the interior part of the eyes as horizontal guide. Try to leave the same space between the eyes according to the vertical guide. For picture B, I took the external part of the eyes as horizontal guide. Try to compress the right eye (as in this image) to make it smaller than the left eye (speaking from our point of view).

2. Measures the size between the nose and the chin, then, put the mouth at the half of that distance.

I hope that this can help. Anyway, if you're drawing with vectors, you can fix the size and the position of every part until your drawing looks natural. Good luck!
